So my great friend over at Urban Veggie Garden Blog suggested I start a garden in my backyard. So I can eat healthier and lose weight. I decided to do just that. I not only want to plant a veggie garden, but I want to remodel the backyard. Above is the picture of my favorite restaurant Alana's. One of my favorite things is the garden. When the weather is nice, they have tables out here for breakfast. It is such an amazing looking place. People don't know it exists because it is so hidden. It is an old Victorian house.
Anyway, the garden is how I want my backyard. So I am going to try to figure out how to get rid of some of the cement we have in the back. We also have a bunch of rocks. I need to go get a wheel barrel and fill our truck to get rid of it all. I think I will have to bring in someone to break up the cement though. I will post the before pictures as soon as I get a chance.
This should help with exercise for sure!
There is one more thing.
I am starting a job today. I don't know how it will pan out but let me just say it is a job not just anyone can do. Or let me rephrase that, something not most people would WANT to do. I will give you a hint.
People are dying to get into a place like this! CAN YOU GUESS??

The garden looks wonderful. Put up pics of your yard now and maybe you won't have to do such drastic changes to get the same effect.
